Requirements:
BasicQualifications:
Competency: Strong knowledge of thesimulation, design, manufacturing, testing and durability of loudspeakers.
Language: Fluency in English (written &verbal) is required.
Education: Degree required.
Experience: Minimum five years relatedexperience in transducer design. Previous manufacturing operations experienceof transducers is essential.
 
RequiredSkills:
1.Demonstrated self-starter with ability tohandle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced global automotive design& manufacturing environments.
2.Strong written and oral communicationskills, particularly in English.
3.Strong knowledge of the design andmanufacturing principles used to create and manufacture transducers.
4.Strong knowledge of FEA techniques forloudspeaker simulation.
5.Detail oriented. Demonstrates the abilityto transition from theoretical to implementation based thinking. Stronganalytical skills.
 
Preferred:
1.Preferred higher degree
2.Preferred experience of automotive design
3.Preferred proven track record of selfimprovement
4.Preferred experience of supervising smallteam on engineers
5.Preferred good language skills in Chineseand acceptable language skills in Korean
6.Preferred knowledge of manufacturingprocesses, materials, adhesives and of Design For Manufacture techniques
 
Responsibility:
1.Supervise a small a team of TransducerEngineers with primary responsibility / accountability for the initiation anddevelopment of feasible, cost effective and reliable transducer designs fromconcept through to production, supporting both customer vehicle and R&Dprojects.
2.Support NPD/R&D projects andsupervise Transducer Engineers as team members with responsibility andaccountability for all Transducer Engineering activities.
3.Participate in the development of commonwork practices, procedures and design standards with other Audio Systems designgroups within Automotive.
4.Conduct simulations using proprietary andcommercial Finite Element Analysis software
5.Supervise the integrity of acoustic andenvironmental testing of loudspeakers
6.Ensure that the necessary documentationis provided that defines and verifies transducer designs. Documentationincludes sketches, BOMs, analytical/modeling data, acoustic data sheets,DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, etc.
7.Keep abreast of the latest developmentsin world-class best practice in relation to audio product design, development,modeling / analysis, materials and manufacturing techniques.
8.Prepare technical reports andpresentations per customer requirements, and prepare technical reports andpresentations for management, peers, and direct reports, as necessary. Preparepapers suitable for presentation at conferences.
9.Provide continuing technical support forproduction level product and guidance for the resolution of various customerand interdepartmental issues, as required.
10.Support departmental initiatives andactivities as directed by the department supervisor.
